The internal monitoring system is designed such that if a sudden surge in current (indicating a battery short circuit) is detected, the control system will reverse the crushing rollers within 0.2 seconds, eject the battery, and re-feed it. This prevents the high temperatures generated by a sustained short circuit. Additionally, both the interior of the crushing chamber and the blades are coated with tungsten carbide to prevent the formation of a conductive path between the metal crushing rollers and the electrode sheets.
The lithium-ion battery shredder not only shreds batteries but also performs step-by-step sorting. Through optimized blade design, rotational speed regulation, and vibration control, the equipment can efficiently process batteries of various sizes, models, and chemical compositions, providing stable feedstock conditions for subsequent high-temperature pyrolysis and multi-stage sorting.
