Our battery recycling machine employs a core process flow consisting of: shredding → drying → crushing → sorting → purification. It is a complete closed-loop system, from raw material input to the output of high-purity products, that truly achieves resource-based recycling and processing.
The low-oxygen conveyor uses a chain-plate elevator to transport used batteries into the hopper. They are then uniformly fed through a screw conveyor to the feeding system and into the low-temperature drying oven. The drying furnace has a controllable temperature range of 100–450°C. It uses electric heating to subject the material to low-temperature pyrolysis for 20–25 minutes, effectively removing electrolyte and moisture. This process prevents damage to the material’s properties caused by high-temperature combustion and avoids environmental pollution. The low-temperature drying furnace features a stainless steel inner liner and an outer insulation layer, ensuring safe and stable operation. The entire drying process is conducted under negative pressure. The generated exhaust gas is cooled and purified through a cyclone separator, pulse dust collector, cyclone spray tower, and RCO. The spray tower employs a counter-current spray design and utilizes two-fluid instantaneous cooling technology to rapidly reduce high-temperature exhaust gas exceeding 200°C to below 60°C, simultaneously completing scrubbing and dust removal. This significantly enhances the safety and efficiency of subsequent processing.
The dried material is fed into a hammer mill. Under the action of high-speed rotating alloy hammers and blades, it is crushed to a size of 2–3 cm. The powder removal rate reaches up to 90%. The equipment incorporates a heavy-duty flywheel to increase inertia and reduce the risk of clogging.
The crushed material then sequentially enters systems such as a pneumatic conveyor, drum screen, magnetic separator, and air classifier. This enables rapid, multi-layer separation.
Drum Screen: Features a self-cleaning drum structure installed at an angle. It automatically removes clogged material, ensuring the screen remains unobstructed. Separation efficiency can reach up to 99%.
Multi-Stage Sorting System: The entire system combines positive- and negative-pressure airflow control with sealed recirculating air reuse technology. This enables precise separation of positive and negative electrode powders, copper, aluminum, plastics, and other materials. Copper and aluminum recovery rates are ≥98%; anode and cathode powder recovery rate ≥98%; iron recovery rate ≥99.5%.
The various materials produced by the battery recycling machine are of extremely high purity. Anode and cathode black powder purity ≥99%. Lithium content ≥0.1%. Aluminum powder purity ≥98%. Contains only trace amounts of plastic. Copper powder purity ≥98%. Contains trace amounts of plastic or copper.
